UNION TYRES

Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Union Tyres platform (the “Platform”), including posting and accepting dealer-to-dealer tyre breakdown and repair jobs.

Last updated: 16 February 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm you have authority to bind your business and you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

  • Trade-only: Union Tyres is intended for tyre dealers and trade partners. It is not designed for end consumers.
  • Accurate details: You must provide accurate company, depot, and contact details and keep them up to date.
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining account security and for all activity under your credentials.
  • Staff access: If you add staff users, you remain responsible for their actions on the Platform.

3. Platform & Roles

The Platform connects dealers so that one dealer can request assistance (“Job Owner”) and another dealer can attend and complete the work (“Attending Dealer”).

  • Union Tyres provides the Platform and workflow tools (dispatch, messaging, ETA, media, signatures, and billing records).
  • Union Tyres is not a party to the underlying on-site service contract between dealers unless expressly stated in writing.
  • Dealers remain responsible for their own operations, staff, vehicles, tooling, and insurance.

4. Jobs (Posting & Taking)

4.1 Posting jobs

  • You must provide sufficient information (location, tyre size/spec, vehicle type, photos where required, hazards/access notes, and urgency).
  • You must ensure the job is lawful, safe to attend, and that you have permission to request attendance at the location.
  • You must not misrepresent the required work or suppress material information that would affect attendance or pricing.

4.2 Taking jobs

  • When you accept a job, you confirm you have the capability to complete it within a reasonable timeframe.
  • You must provide an ETA promptly and keep status updates reasonably current.
  • If you cannot attend after accepting, you must cancel as soon as possible so others can attend.

4.3 On-site work

  • You must follow safe working practices and comply with applicable laws, site rules, and traffic management requirements.
  • Any additional work outside the original scope should be agreed (in-app where possible) before proceeding.

5. Proof-of-Work & Compliance

Jobs may require proof-of-work such as before/after photos, casing photos, notes, timestamps, geotags, and a digital signature. Where proof is required, you must provide it to close the job.

  • Do not upload illegal, unsafe, or irrelevant content.
  • Ensure uploaded media does not infringe third-party rights.
  • Job Owners should review proof promptly and raise issues quickly (see Disputes).

6. Fees, Pricing & Payment

6.1 Pricing

Prices may be set by your agreed rate card, a pre-agreed schedule, or a job-specific agreed price displayed before acceptance. The Attending Dealer should not proceed with chargeable variations without agreement.

6.2 Platform fees

Union Tyres may charge subscription fees and/or per-job fees as described on the Platform or your package. Fees may change with notice (see Changes).

6.3 Invoicing & settlement

  • Upon completion, the Platform may generate an inter-dealer billing record based on job data and agreed pricing.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, inter-dealer invoices are typically settled on standard trade terms (e.g., 30 days) between dealers.
  • You are responsible for accounting for VAT and taxes applicable to your business.

7. Cancellations & Disputes

7.1 Cancellations

  • If a Job Owner cancels after acceptance, reasonable abortive time/call-out may apply where disclosed and evidenced.
  • If an Attending Dealer cancels late or repeatedly, we may apply platform restrictions or rating impacts.

7.2 Disputes

  • Disputes should be raised promptly with clear details and supporting evidence (photos, notes, timestamps).
  • Union Tyres may help facilitate communication, but dealers are primarily responsible for resolving commercial disputes.
  • We may suspend or restrict accounts where we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, or repeated non-compliance.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes, or to request attendance where you lack authorisation.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or disrupt the Platform.
  • Scrape data, reverse engineer, or bypass access controls.
  • Share confidential job or partner data outside legitimate operational need.

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. Dealers are responsible for ensuring they have the right to share any personal data (e.g., driver contact details) submitted via the Platform.

Please refer to Privacy and Cookies for details.

10. Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).
  • Union Tyres provides the Platform “as is” and does not guarantee that jobs will be available, accepted, or completed within a particular timeframe.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Union Tyres is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, revenue, business, or goodwill).
  • Dealers are responsible for the on-site work they perform and any products supplied.

11. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, fraud, safety risk, or repeated poor conduct. You may stop using the Platform at any time.

12.1 Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the latest version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be notified in-app or by email.

12.2 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory local consumer laws that may apply (where relevant).

12.3 Contact
